Additional Salary Information

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.50,000-3%-1,60,000 (IDA) (E2) during a one-year training period. On successful completion of training, candidates will be absorbed as Engineer/Officer in the same scale with probation of one year. The total annual emoluments for new joinees shall be approximately Rs.15 to 16 Lacs, including Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, HRA, Cafeteria Allowance, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Medical Facility, and Social Security Benefits (PF, Pension, Gratuity).

Selection Process

Shortlisting based on normalized marks (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE-2024 / GATE-2025 score (Best Score).
Group Discussion (GD) for shortlisted candidates (5% weightage).
Personal Interview (PI) for shortlisted candidates (20% weightage).
Final selection based on combined weightage of GATE score (75%), GD (5%), and PI (20%).
Qualifying percentage for combined GD & PI score: 40% for OBC (NCL) and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Online/offline Psychometric Assessment may be conducted, results used as input during the Interview.

Reservation

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwBD (degree of disability 40% or above) will be as per Government Norms & Directives.
OBC candidates belonging to the 'CREAMY LAYER' are not entitled to OBC concession and must apply as 'General'. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates must submit a latest certificate in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Authority within 6 months from the closing date of online application.
