- Qualification: Candidates must possess an MS/DNB in General Surgery and one year of experience as a Senior Resident in General Surgery in a recognized Medical College after obtaining a Post Graduate Degree. Equivalent experience as a Tutor or Demonstrator with MSc and Ph.D. in the concerned subject may also be considered. Specialist Medical Officers of the Armed Forces with relevant experience, non-teaching Consultants/Specialists/Medical Officers with a Post Graduate Medical Degree and 2 years of experience in a 220-bed government hospital, and Diploma holders with 4-6 years of experience as Senior Residents or Specialist/Medical Officers are also eligible. Permanent Registration under Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC) / Council for Modern Medicine is mandatory.

Applications are invited from qualified candidates belonging to the reservation group of Viswakarma community of Kerala State.
Applications of candidates belonging to communities other than Viswakarma will be summarily rejected.
