Selection Process

Two-stage process: Computer Based Test (CBT) and Coaching Ability Test (CAT).
CBT assesses sports-specific knowledge, sports sciences, general awareness, reasoning, and aptitude.
CBT is a two-hour test with 100 multiple-choice questions and negative marking (one-fourth).
Candidates for CAT will be shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio based on CBT performance.
CAT evaluates foundational coaching knowledge and relationship-building capacity (60% weightage).
Final selection based on a merit list from CBT (40% weightage) and CAT (60% weightage).
