Selection Process

Written Test: 125 objective type questions, 2.5 hours duration, no negative marking. Minimum 50% marks for UR/EWS (45% for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD against reserved posts) required to be considered for further stages.
Document Scrutiny: Based on written test results, documents submitted by candidates will be scrutinized. Candidates are responsible for uploading supporting documents. Deficiency in documents will be notified on the website.
Medical Examination: Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit as per RITES Rules and Standards.

Reservation

2 posts reserved for Ex-Servicemen on Horizontal basis.
SC/ST Category: 5 years age relaxation.
OBC-NCL Category: 3 years age relaxation.
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years age relaxation, in addition to category-specific relaxation.
RITES regular/contract employees fulfilling the educational qualification and experience criteria shall be given age relaxation of 5 years.

How to Apply

  • Before applying, candidates should ensure that they satisfy the necessary conditions and requirements of the position.
  • Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are required to apply online in the registration format available in the Career Section of RITES website, http://www.rites.com.
  • While submitting the online application, the system would generate 'Registration No.' on top of online form filled up by the candidate. Note down this 'Registration No.' for further logging in and quote it for all further communication with RITES Ltd.
  • Candidates are advised to carefully and correctly fill all the details as required and ensure the availability of all relevant documents as it will be required to be produced in original at later stages of selection (if called).
  • After filling up the required details under the 'Fill/ Modify Application Form', candidate must upload all necessary documents under the 'Upload Document' section.
  • After uploading all documents, candidates are required to make online payment under the 'Make Payment' section. Post successful payment, the final application form must be downloaded.
  • Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the Application Form submitted with them and to carry the same at the time of the selection (if called).
  • Hard copies of documents are not to be sent to this office through post/ courier.
