Frequently Asked Questions
The Consultant will primarily provide legal advice and assistance on Court Cases related to the PSP Division, notably concerning Admin, Cadre & RTI matters. They will also offer legal advice on representations and other entrusted issues, and coordinate with the Department of Legal Affairs (DOLA) and Department of Personnel & Training (DOPT) as required.
The initial period of consultancy is one year. The contract can be extended further based on performance assessment, mutual willingness, and the Ministry's requirements. It may be terminated with one month's notice from either side.
The engagement is strictly contractual and does not include benefits such as Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance, Seniority, or Promotion. No HRA is admissible. Paid leave of 1.5 days per completed month of service is allowed, and travel expenses for official duties will be covered as per Ministry guidelines.
