Defence Research & Development Laboratory (DRDL) is offering a one-year ITI Apprenticeship Training program for the year 2026-27 across various trades. Incomplete online applications or applications with mismatches/illegible documents will be rejected.
Shortlisted candidates will receive an email notification on their registered email ID provided in the Apprenticeship Portal.
Shortlisted candidates must bring all original relevant certificates at the time of verification.
No TA/DA will be admissible for verification/interview or at the time of joining.
Reservation
Reservations to SC, ST, OBC and PwD categories are applicable as per Apprentice Act, 1961.
How to Apply
- Candidates must apply online at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in on or before 29-Jan-2026, 1700 Hrs.
- Submit duly signed applications in the prescribed format (Appendix-A) along with true copies of uploaded documents (SSC, ITI, Caste, PwD, Aadhar Card) and proof of online application.
- The completed application, in a closed envelope super scribed with "APPLICATION FOR ITI APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING AT DRDL for the period 01-Apr-2026 to 31-Mar-2027", must be dropped in the box at DRDL Security Reception on or before 29-Jan-2026, 1700 Hrs.
- Alternatively, applications can be sent through Post addressed to The Director, DRDL, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad-500058, Attn: Chairman Selection & Screening Committee, ITI Apprenticeship Training.
Frequently Asked Questions
The apprenticeship training is for a period of one year, from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027.
No, candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training at DRDL or elsewhere are not eligible to apply.
Completion of the training does not entitle candidates to claim any right to a temporary or permanent job in DRDL.
