This large-scale drive aims to fill 1974 contractual vacancies across Maharashtra. Selection Process

The selection process will consist of the following stages:
Online Entrance Exam: A Computer-Based Test (CBT) with 100 objective questions. There is no negative marking.
Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the exam will be called for document verification.
Certificate Training: Selected candidates will undergo a 6-month certificate training program.
Exit Exam: After training, candidates must pass an Exit Exam to be eligible for appointment. (Must be passed in a maximum of two attempts ).
Final Appointment: Successful candidates will be appointed as CHOs.
(Note: Candidates already working as CHO, or who have in the past, must still pass the Entrance Exam but are exempt from the 6-month training ).

Reservation

Reservation is applicable as per Government of Maharashtra norms. This includes social reservation (SC, ST, VJ-A, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, SBC, OBC, SEBC, EWS) and parallel reservation (Women, Ex-servicemen, Sportspersons, Project-affected, Earthquake-affected, Part-time Graduates, Divyang (PwBD), and Orphans).
Divyang (PwBD): 79 posts are reserved for O.L. (One Leg, up to 50% disability) .
Orphan: 20 posts are reserved for Orphan candidates.
