Additional Salary Information

Computer-Based Test (CBT) of 2 hours duration with 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Negative marking: One-fourth of the marks assigned for each incorrect answer.
Section A (Common for all disciplines): Basic Sports Science Knowledge (32 Marks) + General Sports Awareness (8 Marks) - Total 40 Marks.
Section B (Discipline-Specific): Applied Sports Science Knowledge - 40 Marks.
Section C (Discipline-Specific): Sports-Related Case Studies (Passage-based/Analytical) - 20 Marks.
Final merit list prepared solely based on total CBT marks (out of 100).
Tie-breaker criteria include higher marks in specific sections and age.

Up to a maximum of 5 years for departmental candidates (regular employees of SAI).
Ex-servicemen are permitted to deduct their actual military service period from their actual age, with the resultant age not exceeding the prescribed upper age limit by more than three years.
