Open Competitive Examination with two papers: Paper-I (Computer Based Examination - Objective Type Multiple Choice) and Paper-II (Descriptive).
Paper-I includes questions in both English and Hindi with negative marking (0.25 marks for each wrong answer).
Evaluation of Paper-II only for candidates qualifying in Paper-I with a minimum of 50% marks.
Paper-II assesses writing and translation skills (English to Hindi and vice versa, précis writing, essay/paragraph writing).
