Additional Salary Information

Selected candidates engaged as Apprentices shall undergo apprenticeship training for a period of one year and will be paid a stipend at the prescribed rate during the training period, as per extant rules & directives issued by Railway Board from time to time.

Selection Process

SC/ST Candidates: Upper age limit relaxed by 5 years.
OBC Candidates: Upper age limit relaxed by 3 years.

Ex-Servicemen: Upper age limit relaxed by an additional 10 years, plus length of military service rendered, and an additional 3 years.
Reservation of 4% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and 3% for Ex-Servicemen is included within the overall notified slots.
SC/ST/OBC/EWS reservations are applicable as per Central Government norms. Unfilled reserved slots may be filled by UR candidates.
