Selection Process
Computer Based Examination (Objective Type Multiple Choice) with negative marking (0.25 marks for each wrong answer).
Merit list prepared based on qualifying marks in CBE (minimum 60% for Scientist Grade-II & III, Administrative Assistant, Assistant-II; minimum 50% for GEN, EWS & OBC and 40% for SC/ST in Junior Scientist & Laboratory Technician).
Personal Discussion for Scientist Grade-II & III (ratio 1:10). Selection based on screening test (40% weightage), credentials (30% weightage), and personal discussion (30% weightage).
Skill Test for Administrative Assistant and Assistant-II (ratio 1:5).
For Junior Hindi Translator, a two-paper Open Competitive Examination (Paper-I: CBE, Paper-II: Descriptive). Final merit list based on Paper-II marks.

Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwD/Ex-Servicemen as per DoPT OM No. DoPT-1667569393892 dated 06.09.2022.
01 post for Junior Scientist and 01 post for Laboratory Technician is reserved for PWD (Orthopedically Handicapped/Hearing Handicapped).
