The Indian Air Force invites online applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for the Agniveervayu Intake 01/2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. Additional Salary Information
Agniveervayu enrolled under this Scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of ₹30,000/- per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, Risk and Hardship allowances, Dress and Travel allowances will be paid. Perks such as ration, clothing, accommodation and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) shall also be provided. On completion of four years, Agniveervayu will receive a one-time ‘Seva Nidhi’ package of approximately ₹10.04 Lakhs (absolute amount excluding interest), comprising their monthly contribution along with a matching contribution by the Government.

Selection Process
Phase-I: Online Test (Objective type, bilingual except English paper). Consists of Physics, Mathematics, English, and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA) depending on the subject choice. Negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
Phase-II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-I (objective written test), and Adaptability Test-II. PFT includes 1.6 Km run, Push-ups, Sit-ups, and Squats with specific timings for male and female candidates.
Phase-III: Medical Examination conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards. Includes various baseline investigations. Candidates declared medically unfit can appeal through an Appeal Medical Board (AMB).
Application Fees
₹550/- plus 18% GST (non-refundable) for all candidates.
Reservation
Reservation for various categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD) will be applicable as per Government of India rules and regulations.
