- The appointment for Director (R&D) will be for a period of five years from the date of joining or until superannuation, whichever is earlier.
- Applicants must be employed in a regular capacity in a CPSE, Central Government Group 'A' service, SPSE, or a Private Sector Company/JV with an annual turnover of ₹5,000 crore or more.
- The minimum age for internal candidates is 45 years with 2 years residual service, and for others, 45 years with 3 years residual service.
- A postgraduate degree in AI/ML, Communication, Tele-Communication, or Micro-Electronics Embedded Systems is desirable for this role.
- Candidates must have at least five years of R&D project leadership experience in the Defence Sector within the last ten years.
