Additional Salary Information

GDSs are paid emoluments in the form of Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) with an annual increase of 3%, plus Dearness Allowance. Initial engagement TRCA slabs are Rs.12,000/- to Rs.29,380/- for BPM and Rs.10,000/- to Rs.24,470/- for ABPM/Dak Sevak. Selection Process

Shortlisting based on a system-generated merit list.
Merit list prepared based on marks obtained in the 10th standard Secondary School Examination, aggregated to a percentage (up to 4 decimals).
Grades/Points will be converted to marks using a multiplication factor of 9.5 by the system.
In case of a tie, priority will be given based on DOB (older in age) and then category (ST trans-woman, ST female, SC trans-woman, etc.).
Physical verification of original documents by the Engaging Authority (Divisional/Unit Head).
Issuance of 'Offer of provisional engagement' upon successful document verification.
Completion of pre-engagement formalities, including basic training and arrangement of accommodation, within 30 days.
Final order of engagement issued after verification of documents from issuing authorities and antecedent verification by Police Authorities.
