Selection Process

Candidates meeting qualifying criteria and whose online applications are accepted will be provisionally shortlisted for a written test.
The written test will be 90 minutes long, comprising 85 Technical and General Aptitude Questions, with 1 mark for each correct answer.
Minimum qualifying marks for the written test and interview are 35% for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Candidates will be provisionally shortlisted for an interview in a 1:5 ratio based on written test performance.
Selection will be based on the performance in both the written test (85 marks weightage) and interview (15 marks weightage).
Written test will be held at Bengaluru only. BEL reserves the right to change the centre based on candidate numbers and availability.
Candidates working in Government/Quasi Government/Public Sector Organizations must produce a 'No Objection Certificate' at the time of interview.
Candidates must produce a valid Government-issued photo identity proof during the written test.
